Michael is a Senior Portfolio Manager with a focus on real estate finance investing strategy.
Michael joined Challenger Investment Management in 2024 and has over 21 years’ experience across financial markets, real estate structured finance, real estate investment banking and private equity.
Prior to joining Challenger Investment Management, Michael was a Director with ICG and was involved in real estate private equity and structured capital investments, as well as Vice President at JPMorgan where he headed the Australia and New Zealand real estate structure finance business. Before JPMorgan, Michael also held other senior roles such as Director at EY Capital & Debt Advisory, as well as Head of Treasury at Investa Property Group.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance , Economics), as well as a Master of Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University, Melbourne.
